Bhutan Airlines (Tashi Air Pvt. Ltd.) announces the addition of Hong Kong as the third destination in its fixed departures flight programme for 2025 following the positive response to the earlier announcements of fixed departure flights from Vietnam and Malaysia. This new route will connect Hong Kong directly with Bhutan, without any layovers. The official launch was celebrated at a special evening event in Hong Kong on 2nd December 2024, attended by 60 guests, including Mrs. Gianna Hsu, Chairman of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Commencing on 29th January 2025, Bhutan Airlines will operate 7 roundtrips of fixed departure flights between Hong Kong and Bhutan, carefully timed to cater to the travel preferences of Hong Kong residents, especially during peak holiday periods. Pema N.
